About Crans-Montana

Crans-Montana sits on a plateau at about 1,500 m. It hosted the 1987 Alpine World Ski Championships and regularly hosts women’s World Cup speed races.

The skiing

The ski area has 140 km of pistes and 24 lifts, and runs from the plateau up to the Plaine Morte Glacier at about 3,000 m. Most of the pistes face south.
