About Courmayeur
Courmayeur lies at 1,224 m beneath the Italian side of Mont Blanc. Its ski area has two sectors, Plan Chécrouit and Val Veny, and reaches Cresta d’Arp at 2,755 m.
The Skyway Monte Bianco cable car rises from Courmayeur to Punta Helbronner at 3,466 m. The Mont Blanc Tunnel, opened in 1965, links the valley by road to France.
