About Lech Zürs
Lech lies at about 1,450 m and Zürs at 1,717 m, with Oberlech above Lech at 1,750 m. Lech’s first ski school opened in 1925 and its first lift in 1939.
The skiing
Lech and Zürs are part of Ski Arlberg, which has more than 300 km of pistes and 85 lifts; since 2016/17 the Flexenbahn gondola has linked them directly with St. Anton. The highest lift in the Lech Zürs sector is the Madlochbahn, whose top station is at 2,446 m; the highest point of Ski Arlberg as a whole is the Valluga at 2,811 m above St. Anton.
