Stowe Mountain Resort is on Mount Mansfield, which at 4,395 ft (1,340 m) is Vermont’s highest peak. It has 485 skiable acres and 116 trails.
The lifts rise from 1,559 ft (475 m) to 3,719 ft (1,134 m). The season usually runs from late November to mid-April, and Burlington International Airport is about 40 minutes’ drive away.
